So, you’ve found a Photoshop shape that you like and you’re ready to put it to use. Here’s a quick guide on how you do it.
1. In the tools window (Window >> Tools) select the Custom Shape Tool as shown in the picture. It looks like a curvy star.

2. At the top of the screen you should now see the custom shape toolbar. On this toolbar you’ll find a dropdown option with the word “Shape” next to it. Simply click on this dropdown menu.

3. From the dropdown menu you should see a small arrow to the right.

4. Click on the arrow and choose the option “Replace shapes…”. From there you will then need to browse to the location of the shape file you downloaded (.csh) and load it.
5. Your shapes should now be loaded and will be displayed in the shape drop down menu.
6. Now by clicking on one of those shapes it will become selected. To use it within your design simply click and drag on the canvas to draw the shape.
